THE TURBULENT TERM OF TYKE TILER (Play-script for class 6)

ACT 1 - SCENE 1 Setting: The classroom Danny steals ten pounds from Ms. Bonfire's purse and confesses to Tyke about it who scolds him for his act and asks him to put it back. Danny, in return, requests Tyke to put it back for him because Tyke is the clever one out of the two. Tyke agrees and makes up an excuse to leave the class and runs down the corridor. Harlequin: "What did the cross-eyed teacher say? I can't control my pupils." ACT 1 - SCENE 2 Setting: School corridor As Tyke is about to put the money back, Mrs Somers, the deputy head, appears and asks Tyke what is going on? Tyke and Mrs Somers are not at all on friendly terms so Tyke is a little bit scared about being caught. However, she tells Tyke that Tyke is not a proper name and other students should be calling Tyke by the actual name instead of the nickname. Tyke listens with a bowed head. Once Mrs Somers leaves, Tyke starts thinking about where to hide the tenner. Harleq

JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH (Novel for class 6)

INTRODUCTION: James and the Giant Peach is the story of a young boy who escapes an abusive home in a magical peach. Along the way, he makes new friends, and discovers the joys of freedom and friendship, which had previously been alien ideas to him. SUMMARY: James is living with his two terrible aunts after an accident at the zoo claimed the lives of both his parents. Upon moving in with his aunts, James' life of abuse begins immediately. His aunts treat him terribly, forcing him to work all day long, denying him any friends or schooling, and calling him names. James is terribly surprised then, when he finds a mysterious old man hiding in the bushes. The man gives James a bag full of magic beans and warns him to be very careful with them as they are extremely powerful. While he is running back to his house, James trips and spills the beans in his Aunts' garden. The beans immediately burrow their way into the ground and produce a massive peach at the top of the peach tree.

SHERLOCK HOLMES AND THE VALLEY OF FEAR (Play-script for class 7)

ACT NO 1 ACT 1 - SCENE 1 Setting: railway compartment, Vermissa valley 1875. McMurdo has arrived to Vermissa valley. He is travelling in a train compartment. He seats down, takes out a paper have a look at it, takes out a revolver check if it is loaded and puts it back. Scanlan and Cormac see this. They ask him if he is armed and his whereabouts. McMurdo explains that he is from Chicago and one of the ancient orders of freemen. Scanlan says the sign, “dark nights are unpleasant”, and McMurdo shakes his hand and completes the countersign “for strangers to travel”. They introduce themselves to each other. Scanlan and Cormac ask him to visit McGinty who is the body master and everything happens in Vermissa valley based upon his order. Scanlan and Cormac get off at their destined stop. Police officers approach McMurdo ; he doesn’t talk to them positively. Police officers warn him to be careful while choosing friends in Vermissa valley. ACT 1 - SCENE 2
